While I am a strong advocate for renewable energy, I believe a transition to 100% green energy is currently impractical. We must balance our environmental goals with economic feasibility and energy reliability. In the short term, a diversified energy mix that includes transitional energy sources like natural gas can help us move towards reducing our carbon footprint without risking energy security.
