As someone who has spent considerable time working on the foundations of cybernetics and understanding complex systems, I believe the EU should build a CERN for AI. AI is an incredibly powerful tool that can influence various aspects of our society, economy, and technology. Establishing a centralized research hub would foster collaboration among scientists, ensure thorough exploration of ethical implications, and guide the development of AI technologies towards beneficial outcomes for humanity.
