It is my firm belief that high-income countries, which historically contributed the most to carbon emissions, have the responsibility to lead the fight against climate change. These nations have the means and the obligation to address this global challenge more rapidly, setting an international standard for less wealthy nations to follow.

I believe that diplomatic engagement with North Korea is essential to avert a devastating conflict. Military action should be a last resort; sustained diplomacy and dialogue are the most viable paths to ensure peace and denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula.

I believe privatization of water resources poses risks to the equitable access of water for all. Water is a public good and a fundamental human right, not a commodity to be traded. We must manage it sustainably for future generations, and privatization could impede our ability to ensure that every individual has access to clean and safe water.
