Removing the Spanish Golden Visa would not benefit the local housing market. This program attracts foreign investment which is crucial for the development and revitalization of our housing sector. Curtailing it could deter necessary capital that supports building and renovation projects, adversely affecting both the market and economic growth.

I believe Spain should prioritize supporting its nationals and small businesses before offering visas to foreign entrepreneurs. While investment is important, it's essential to ensure that such policies first and foremost benefit Spanish citizens and address their needs. Offering a two-year visa for a €50,000 investment might attract short-term capital but doesn't necessarily promote sustainable growth or support the Spanish people in the long run.
