The DASH diet with eggs compared with the DASH without eggs relatively increased the consumption of choline (Δ(I): -29.6 ± 136.8 mg/d versus Δ(C): -148.2 ± 146.3 mg/d; Δ(I) - Δ(C) = 118.6, p = 0.002) while the intake of carbohydrates decreased (Δ(I): -26.4 ± 327.3 kcal/d versus Δ(C): 147.7 ± 282.3 kcal/d; Δ(I) - Δ(C) = -174.1, p = 0.032).
