Comment by Tara Zeitoun

Nutrition researcher and coauthor of a 2026 study on genetic modifiers of diet score and LDL cholesterol.
In young adults, higher PDS and intake of its components showed favourable associations with LDL-C. Our findings suggest that ABCA1 rs1883025 and ABCG8 rs6544713 genotypes modify the association of the PDS, plant protein and phytosterols with LDL-C.

Disputed The sentence is real and appears verbatim in the abstract of the article Genetic Modifiers of the Portfolio Diet Score and LDL Cholesterol in Young Adults, available online on 2026-05-06. But the work is a multi-author paper, and Tara Zeitoun is listed only as one of the coauthors, not as the sole speaker of that sentence, so the quote cannot be verified as a single-author Tara Zeitoun quote. The submitter’s provided passage does not contain the quoted text, and the PubMed URL itself was not directly fetchable here.
