Today the County Council heard a presentation from members of the Civic Assembly on AI. This was a dedicated group of county residents who were randomly selected by a national nonprofit called Civic Genius. They met over the course of multiple weekends to develop policy recommendations regarding government use of AI. I am so grateful for the work of these residents and to Jillian Youngblood for her leadership in making this happen.
