No matter where we’re from or the color of our skin, we should all be able to move freely in our communities without the fear of being spied on by our own government. But right now, facial recognition and other biometric surveillance tools are being used to carry out violent immigration enforcement. The ICE Out of Our Faces Act is essential to start reigning in a growing and unaccountable surveillance state aimed squarely at immigrant communities, communities of color, and people speaking up for their neighbors and loved ones. No administration should be able to weaponize technology against us, Unverified source (2026)
