This is a flashing red siren for anyone who cares about keeping America safe and free. The Trump administration wants to use A.I. to spy on Americans without a warrant and to give A.I. power to make life and death decisions without humans involved. That would put our Constitutional rights and our lives in the hands of unaccountable AI systems. [...] But these questions are too important to be left to private companies alone.
