These are crucial in financial systems, just as they are in addressing the climate crisis. We should be cautious about delegating such significant responsibilities to artificial systems without clear oversight.

I believe that creating a single, centralized hub for AI, like CERN, could concentrate too much power and decision-making in one place. It's essential to have diverse, global perspectives and decentralized approaches to ensure that AI is developed ethically and sustainably, with consideration for environmental impacts and social justice.

As a climate activist, my primary focus is on environmental issues and the impact of climate change. While I see the potential for AI to aid in climate research and solutions, I am not an expert in AI technology itself. Therefore, I would abstain from forming a strong opinion on whether AI systems should have interpretable decision-making processes. My hope is that whatever technology we use, it should ultimately support a sustainable and just future for our planet.
