Comment by Jonas Prising

Our belief is that AI will largely augment human capability and not replace it. Creativity, judgement, communication and collaboration become much more important, because they leverage the benefits of human capability rather than compete with technology.

AI Verified Relevant: on the source page, this quote appears in the section about how growth can create jobs and opportunities, immediately after discussion of AI’s impact on the jobs market and the need to avoid jobless growth. Saying AI will mostly augment rather than replace people strongly signals a stance more consistent with AI being net job-creating than net job-destroying, even though it does not state the full comparison explicitly. AI Verified The quote implies support rather than stating the full comparison explicitly: saying AI will "largely augment human capability and not replace it" suggests AI will not mainly eliminate workers. On the source page, this appears in a section about how growth can create jobs, including language about new industries emerging, jobs being created, and avoiding "jobless growth," so the overall context makes support for net job creation the most likely reading.
