We're standing at the base of incredible change with the climb towards super-intelligence already underway. Recent public incidents have shown these safety risks are real, not just marketing or theoretical. Alignment, control, and safety have to come first. This is our moment to get it right. Let's not let our future selves look back and ask why we didn't take action when we had the chance.
