My bill, House Bill 2829, helps fix that. It puts four duties on the biggest AI companies in the world, and only on them. [...] Third, it's not enough for us to take these companies at their word. We need an outside auditor who has no business ties to these companies, who can actually hold these companies' feet to the fire as to their safety plans.
