Disputed The Europe PMC record for PMID 23643053 contains the exact sentence in the abstract’s Conclusions: “Our study suggests that there is a dose-response positive association between egg consumption and the risk of CVD and diabetes.” It also shows the paper has four individual authors—Li Y, Zhou C, Zhou X, and Li L—so this is a real quote from a multi-author article, not a quote attributable to Xianliang Zhou alone. The stored single-author attribution is therefore unsupported.
