International trade and regulatory lawyer who gave evidence to the UK Parliament on AI and international standards.
There is no common international standard, and I do not see there being one any time soon, because people see their own system as providing them with a form of competitive advantage that they are unlikely to be willing to give up in the name of international standard setting.
