Comment by Government of Bangladesh

National government of Bangladesh, speaking through its delegation at the UN Global Dialogue on AI Governance in July 2026.
To give full effect to the right to erasure under applicable data protection law, the government shall interpret such right as extending to AI systems trained on personal data. Where an AI system has been trained using data that was unlawfully obtained, processed without valid consent, or subject to a lawful withdrawal of consent, the deploying entity shall be required to implement algorithmic disgorgement measures.
