Efforts to integrate AI with labour-intensive sectors should be handled very carefully, since the direct consequence of increased AI-led automation would be massive job losses. Mandating the use of ex-ante impact assessments of AI integration in these sectors, developing social safety nets and providing reskilling opportunities to workers would be necessary in such cases.
