And much of the data center buildout is to advance new technologies that could lead to substantial workforce upheaval. The U.S. has been caught flat-footed in the past by the labor impact of major technological shifts. This time, we need to be ready. To address the impacts on communities and the country – higher energy prices, drained resources, and workforce upheaval – we will need new streams of revenue. It is only logical that we look to the companies building and benefitting from these projects to contribute.
