New York State Chief Cyber Officer.
Come November, large frontier AI developers will be statutorily required to register with the Office of Digital Innovation, Governance, Integrity and Trust (DIGIT) housed under the NYS Department of Financial Services (DFS) and comply with safety requirements. They include reporting of critical safety incidents to DIGIT within 72 hours; establishing and making publicly available safety and transparency frameworks; and filing quarterly risk assessments to DIGIT.
