We already have an AI assistant we built for our home blood pressure monitoring program — that right now still has a human in loop for doing the titrations of the meds. Five years from now, we're not going to have a human doing those titrations.

Verified. Quote attributed to Dr. Devin M. Mann (author_id 4011), Senior Director for Informatics Innovation at NYU Langone's Center for Healthcare Innovation and Delivery Science. Source URL (https://medcitynews.com/2026/02/nyu-langone-health-clinical-ai/) returned 403 on WebFetch, but content independently confirmed via WebSearch results from MedCity News "NYU Langone Health: We're Close to Clinical AI with No Human in the Loop" (Feb 2026) and corroborating coverage (National Today, RamaOnHealthcare). Year 2026 is correct. Vote "against" the statement "Regulated industries should prohibit AI from making autonomous decisions where fiduciary duty applies" aligns with the quote's meaning: Mann envisions AI autonomously titrating medications within five years, arguing against prohibition of autonomous AI clinical decisions. Quote content matches reporting: "We already have an AI assistant we built for our home blood pressure monitoring program — that right now still has a human in loop for doing the titrations of the meds. Five years from now, we're not going to have a human doing those titrations."
