Pakistan therefore calls for safety norms to be developed through inclusive multilateral processes under the United Nations, where all nations participate as equals.

Norms, standards, and interoperability frameworks must be authored by both those already at the summit and those who've just started climbing.

Underlying all these three is a single principle: AI systems must be developed and used in full compliance with international law and the United Nations Charter, with meaningful human oversight in both civilian and security domain.
