The New York AI Act covers several key components we view as vital to effective AI regulation such as providing whistleblower protections and codifying a clear and comprehensive definition of what constitutes unlawful discriminatory practices. These first in the nation provisions are certainly significant and support the bill’s holistic approach to AI regulation.
