Intergovernmental conference on global AI governance held in Shanghai in July 2026.
During the Conference, the signing ceremony of the Agreement on the Establishment of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization (WAICO) was held in Shanghai. WAICO will be the world’s first intergovernmental international organization on AI.
