I urge the Commission to deny Club for Growth’s request to permit noncommercial political calls to wireless numbers using artificial or prerecorded voices, including AI-generated voices, without prior express consent. Removing that safeguard would increase opportunities for deception, deepfake impersonation, and misleading election communications. There’s no excuse for flooding Americans’ phones with shady, dark-money-funded AI robocalls. Not this fall. Not ever.
